Service engine soon light on the dash board. What are the most common reasons for this to happen?and any idea on how to fix with out taking to shop for costly diagnostic + parts and labour? Thanks Peter

May be one of your O2 sensors went bad. Usually the one closest to the combustion chamber is the failed sensor.

If there is an AutoZone store near you, they will read the diagnostic code for free.

The Sentras were recently recalled with symptoms of engine light coming on. Reason: Crank sensor and lining in CPU box needs replaced.
