I have a nissan maxima 95 with a bad engine coolant temperature sensor.
Can somebody recommend a good place to buy a new one (a website if buying online is cheaper)? Also where can I find detailed instructions on how to replace it?
Thanks Nauman

Just buy the part at autozone, pepboys etc. Once you have it you'll know what to look for on your engine. This sensor is generally located where the coolant is at it's hottest. To find it, just trace the upper radiator hose back to the engine block and where it attaches to the engine. You should find the sensor somewhere around there. Put a bit of thread locker on the new part, un-screw the old one, a small amount of coolant may fall out, no biggie, easily repleneished and you can run the engine (while cool, of course) with the radiator cap off to get rid of any air bubbles introduced by the procedure.
