The rotor under the distributor cap on my '97 sentra will not pull off. The securing screw is removed, but this thing will not pull out. Do not want to pry it with a screwdriver or plier. This could crack it or do other damage. Anyone experience this problem and know any tricks?
If you're not comfortable with giving it a big YANK then use a dremel tool to carve up the side so the phenolic will lose its grip. Careful dont go too far and hack up the shaft.
