Is it true that Nissans flood on occasion. It has happen to me my mom and to my Mother-in-law? Anyone else have this problem?

As far as I know, the only vehicle that floods is one that has a carburetor. My 94 is fuel injected and a couple of times it spewed some white smoke while starting it but it started and ran fine. Carlos Trevino
Some cars of various manufacturers can suffer from "short cycle syndrome" where if you crank it up cold, move it a few feet and shut it off, the next recrank can be hard or the are drown in fuel and won't start. Mazda RX-7's are notorious for this.
I've had three Pathfinders: '87 (130K miles), '95 (130K miles), '01 (50 K miles so far).
No floods, except the time I left the sunroof open and it rained. ;-)
