2001 Sentra---19,000 miles on the car and I need to replace the two front tires. Worn thin on the outer edges. I know this indicates out of alignment but don't know if it came that way from the factory or because of a few pot hole hits that I took. Anyone else run into this problem or was I just unlucky with the pot holes? How important is the tire rotation? MLD

Rotation is important on front wheel drive cars. Having said that, do you have continental tires? If so you might better get them off. They are CHEAP junk tires, noisey, poor traction and wear fast. Continental will not stand behind them either.
