Its been 3 weeks since I mailed a money order to a place called Cooters Auto Manuals.I have emailed 4 times and not gotten a reply and have yet to receive the owners manual for my 01 Maxima.Has anyone heard of this place and what recourse do we have when making purchases on the internet? Thanks.
In the future you might consider using a credit card. Most large credit card companies will back off fraudulent charges or charges in dispute until resolved. Best of all they will fight on your behalf. Unless I knew a company was legit, I would not use checks or money orders.
Check with the Better Business Bureau in their town for complaints. Also file a complaint with their state Attorney General's office. If they are not legitimate, however, you are just protecting the next guy & your own money is GONE.
Cute manual, but I thought this was a Nissan group, not programming...
