Max compared to the G35 sedan

I'd like to get some feedback form those of you that had opportunity to buy a G35, but chose the Maxima. Why?

RWD has big performance advantages. Your opinions will be appreciated.

we choose an 04 SE because of the following factors

1. The flexibility of the trunk expansion given by fold down rear seats
2. FWD, although RWD has performance advantages at 10/10ths where oversteer is important FWD has advantages for the remaining 9/10ths. With RWD you have to rely on the stability control electronics to keep you out of a transition to oversteer. Understeer is easier to deal with (for my wife and I at least).
3. More interior room
4. We liked the look of the new max better than the G-35 (surprisingly enough) we a lot of compliments on the cars "look" In BTW after 3,500 miles of driving we really like the car

I drove the FX45/35 and the ONLY reason I bought the Murano was price. I could not afford the extra $8K.
