Hi all, a few months ago, i did a brake mod. i got brembo slotted rotors and metal brakes pads for all four wheels. After replacement, the brakes does not see to brake as well. is it because of the metal pads? also when i park on inclines/slope hills, the hand parking brake does not see to have a nice bite. It seem as if it is the trans is holding the car from rolling because the parking brakes are slipping after a while. Do I need to reseat anything after i installed the new pads and rotors for the hand brakes? on older cars, there is an automatic wheel that you have to adjust to get the brakes to have a good bite. is there such a thing in the 2k max auto ? Thank You

On my 1998 MAX the parking brake cable connects to a lever on the rear caliper. MAke sure the cable is well connected and that the lever moves freely in and out when applying the parking brake and on both rear wheels. ( have a helper actuate the hand brake while you are watching) .The only adjustment is inside the vehicule where the cable connects to the hand brake lever.
