I've managed to replace the old pads with the new, however i can't seperate enough to get it back onto the rotor. Is there a way of doing that?
Thanks for the help.

If your 90 is anything like my 96, the rear pistons need to be twisted in clockwise to be retracted, not compressed like the fronts.
Use a pair of needle-nose pliers or a tool from autozone (ask them about it) to help you rotate the piston back into the caliper.

That's it! You push in WHILE turning clockwise and they go right back in, unless you've gotten BRUTAL trying to force them back in without twisting them.
and be sure to get the little tit on the brake pad lined up with the slot on the caliper piston.
To think that rear brakes are still engineered the same way ;), piston, nub on the brake pad and all. I guess parking brake mechanisms haven't changed!

Worked! Thanks for the tips guys.
