I have an 04 Max 3.5 SL and an 02 Frontier 4 Cyl manual: does anyone know if either of these vehicles use a timing belt.
In regards to the belt, Nissan recommends changing it at 60K miles---any comment?
What is maintenance for a timing chain?

Timing chain is good for 105K miles. Timing belt usually needs replacement at about 60K miles.
Timing chain is virtually a maintenance free item, whereas timing belt has to be replaced periodically
