306 electric window help

My driver side electric window is broken (Not the glass)

Does anyone know what parts you need to get this fixed?

Or is there an easy fix?

Does anyone know a good Pug mechanic in Herts?

Many thanks,

Declan

Assuming you need to replace the entire motor assembly then you will need a new motor assembly (~£150 from memory) and a new membrane for inside the door to replace the one you will have to rip off (~£25). Pug also changed the electrical connectors from the car to the motor so make sure they give you the converters.

It is not an easy fix - took me a day and a half to strip down the door and get it all back together - clipping the glass onto the assembly was a pain and I had to do some soldering to get the connectors to work.

If it broke again, I'd bite the bullet and get a garage to do it.

Haynes manual is very useful....

Thanks Ken.

I think I will get the garage to do it, to warranty the work.

Thank for your input. Very useful.

Just for ref. I got the window kit from GSF (German Swedish) for 50 quid.

So any parts I would get from their. And they deliver.

Once again, thanks for your input.
