Has anyone had problems with the computer system, our one keeps flashing up with a warning that there is an antipollution fault, have taken it to two dealers and the problem is still happening a year and a half later.

I have heard other talk of this in the past, though I have no experience of it. Definitly a known issue though so go back to the dealers and make sure they ring Peugeot. I'm sure someone will be able to give you more details though.

Yes, my late '02 one had this last summer - the dealer said it was "something to do with a switch on the thottle that got stuck, but that switch is ok now - the EMS just remembers that it happened & warns you for ages after".

& lo, a week after they sorted it (in the summer), it did it again. I just left it & the fault didn't come up after 2-3 weeks.

It did it again last week - a hot day. The engine didn't want to pull at all until I turned it off & turned it on again.

I'll get them to look at it - it's going back anyway to get a new CD multichanger that has died - it's only done

My XSI 307 had anti-pollution faults.

I think the dealers first option is to try for a reload of the system software on the BSI. The next is to attempt to check for the faults.

The 307 uses drive by wire multiplexed system, so it can throw up all manner of faults.

Dealer should be able to sort it. If its coming on and off, make sure that the codes are cleared in the BSI.

Shunt...
