I am planning to have my timing belt replaced at 66000 miles - should I be looking to replace anything else at the same time such as tensioners, idlers etc? Or is just changing the belt OK?

Also it would be as well to change the auxilliary belt too. They tend to crack and when they get too bad they snap, and will sometimes get caught up in the cambelt by getting behind the crankpulley. This will make the cambelt jump and may cause considerable engine damage. The belt is around 15 to 20 pounds. Check the auxilliary belt tensioner and jockey whells for any tight spots or roughness and renew as nec.
