My breather has been rmarkably clean recently. I noticed by chance that a split has occured in one of the breather pipes (smaller bore). I have now put some tape over the split. I am wondering if I have acted too soon. Could this split have accounted for the cleaner breather. Would the emmissions be less with the split. Quite important since I am due for an MOT soon.
Let me know whether it would be best to leave the tape, or re-expose the split for a cleaner burn.
