John, I think my cclutch cable is in good conditione. I can't belive that clutch cable can make trouble like mine. Isn't it just a wire wich work properly or not. My clutch pedal is soft, and chatch in the middle. And yes, i have no trouble when change gear from 3-2 and 2-1 (no jerking, very smooth) By

Listen, I have readed about worn synchro on the net. I have the same problem with double clutch depresing. Nothing changed. Problem is only when I am going from 1 to 2 gear (that is not griding like you can hear when changing without clutch, that is little kick back). Whan I am going up to hill and change from first to second gear i can feal some strange feeling wich coming from transmition..
I want to say that I have any trouble with downshifting......No griding........
I mean I have not any trouble with downshifting.....sorry
Ah....not a grinding noise just a kick. Are your engine mountings ok?
