sounds like water in fuel light drain abit of fuel out of the fuel filter housing (bleed screw at the bottom) and see if it improves it may be that the filter is due for a chamge though when was it last done?

My pad sensors are ok, just recently fitted them, I have heard the water in fuel filter thing before, is it just that plastic plug on the front/bottom of the filter housing you take out? If so nothing was in there.

if there is an electrical connector on the side of the fuel filter housing then disconnect and see if light stays off
