I just got my Peugeot 307 1.6 XT and I am looking for some good mods. I don't like those extreme mods like nos, or extreme ligthning stuff. So far only double spoilers are installed. I am thinking about a full body kit too but I am not sure. As I said I dont want to go too extreme. I will be doing some engine mods too. So I am looking for some smart ideas on exterior, interior and engine mods. This is my first car and I dont know much about mods so a little help please :)

I havent done anything yet... at least nothing professional.. as I said, I only installed double spoilers on the back which is not much of a modifying.. Also I installed some cool neons but it's not modifying either..I need some pro ideas.. basically what I want is a little cool looking visual mods and some price/value performance mods. I also have 17" wheels so I believe I am losing some hp/torque from there due to friction(wider wheels)so I want some mods to recover that loss..

About your question, so far it's great. However, sometimes I miss my old Renault

Their 307 bodykit looks nice. They do other bits and bobs too, Lexus style rear lights for example.

Thanks for the link. I will definitely go for a body kit. But I dont know about the ecosse. It looks like they don't have much stuff for 307s.

You're not losing hp/torque - you're losing a (negligible) amount of acceleration due to the larger circumference of the tyre.

can't give you any mods but have a look at

to find out what to steer clear of.

Thanks man, you just saved me a couple of hours.. BTW, I finished some of the mods in my car..

1) I finished installing my extra cambridge sound system(5.1) to my car by using an inverter. I already a brand new sound system when I bought the car so I decided to go with a crazy idea and I placed front speakers outside the car under the hood in waterproof bags with tiny small holes on them to let more sound out. I installed satellites behind the back door, on the sides of the subwoofer. Whole sound system(front speakers, satellites and subwoofer) is controlled by a console which I placed it near the driver seat so I can control the volumes from there. All speakers and subwoofer is painted in red. Lol, I havent seen anyone doing something like this, I mean placing speakers outside of the car to make it a moving giant speaker so I called it system OnyX :) .. I am taking all the credits for it right now, but if it's done already by someone else... hmm I DONT CARE :) lol.. anyway.. 2) In addition to the sound system, I also placed red bulbs behind A/C blowers which turn on by the headlights at night. Also, I placed a red neon stick behind the grill which looks really mystic at nights and another red neon stick behind the rear window which flashes by the music. Both neon sticks are being controlled by a switch panel placed under the a/c panel. 3) Double spoilers, 1 on the top of the rear window, 1 below the rear window.

I was going to paint the dashboards in red too but my mom(who also wants to drive it, sigh) wanted me to order them in wooden something...

Currently I am waiting on my K&N air filter for better performance and noise :). Also I may paint the grill in metallic red which I already tested in photoshop and it looked STUNNING!!!! .. I love red on black.. my black beauty, Project OnyX .. I will be posting the pictures soon..
