Can any body tell me where the fuel pump is on a 106?(not for me )as the person cant get any fuel to the carb,found the filter on the rear end with the pipes but cant find the pump. any help would be helpful so i can pass info on.

Thanks for the pic but the fuel pump is under the rear seat.the person found it after looking for about 1.5hrs i just sat back and laughed.so they got to remove the seat and the plug so they can get to the pump at last.

Which "variety" of 106 is it? Pic clearly shows fuel pump in engine bay (arrow)... the fuel guage sender unit is under the seat on the carburettor models...
Dont know all i have been told that they have found the pump under the rear seat.as there is no pump on the engine at all.two pipes to carb they go through bulk head on pass side and just cant see them untill they found the pump..

Ah... my mistake... tis only the 1124cc engine that has fuel pump in engine bay... going on what I know as that's what I have....
The fuel injection one has it under rear seat.... sorry!
Yea my Samba had it under in the engine bay, but when the pump got hot it would not work very well, so i fitted a eletric one in the end .best thing i fitted to that poor car..
