My mate had the exact same problem on his 306 D Turbo. He took it to a Peugeot specialist who replaced the indicator stalk which solved the problem. Hope this helps.

We took it to our mechanic's today, he took the trim off and ordered a new switch. I'll get it on Monday and put it in (he explained me how to do that...). Didn't charge anything - nice guy :-)
Sure does!

So should I be able to fix it if I clean the switch out? A new one is about
60 Euro I was told...Tobi
Yes. Trouble is they're very difficult to get to get into without breaking, and with all the springs and things inside, even more difficult to put together. You could try spraying some electrical contact cleaner inside as best you can, but I don't think you'll be able to get rid of all the dirt that way. Worth a try though, and cheaper than 60 Euro!!
I had the same problem. It's not too difficult to get into the switch, and it's not that hard to get back together again. (as I recall nothing flies out of the switch when it's opened either) Just clean the contacts and all will be well again. It won't cost you a thing!!
