Is it just me, or does anyone else think the front of the 407 looks like a monkfish?!?!

Hello,
Errrr... First time I saw it, almost one year ago, I thought it was really a strange look. Then, when pictures became better and better, and until now, I just think it's an amazing choice, having made the air intake through the bumper, and a "flat" bonnet end (no front grille). I saw some yesterday on the motorway (on a truck), doesn't look that bad.

No, a wide mouthed frog! (Just like the old Ford Scorpio!)

Do you think that massive scoop at the front is for devouring prey? Talking about the Scorpio, I've seen a few recently and suddenly it looks rather modern. I remember when it came out, it's looks were widely criticised - but to me, it seems like the entire car industry has now caught up with that horrendous styling. Whats going on?
Its called global styling and means all the manufacturers can sell the same cars globally - fortunately us europeans can cope with (Most) japanese cars, and vice versa. This is why the americans get to keep most of their own cars! I'm sure the grille and boot lid of the scorpio came from america (like the current transit van) and that is why it took some getting used to, although the peugeot has already had the scorpio to break the ice for it.

Small children? You are kidding, aren't you? This thing could swallow a whole class of school children.

Awww c'mon.. it looks a BIT like one. That front radiator grille looks like maybe it might eat small children that get in the way.
Chris.
lol! Do you think maybe Peugeot have found an alternative power source?
Pedestrians! You have been warned! The new Peugeot 407 will eat you!
Brings a whole new meaning to 'people power'
;)

:) Reckon it'd look better with all the fins attached :)
JSo.... playtime really is over!
