1995 Sunfire Issues

Sunfire starts rough smoke or stream ( can?t figure which one) comes out of the tail pipe for about 5 minutes then clears up.

At 60km and lonely at 60km the car seem to slightly jerk. If above or below that speed it runs fine.

Sometimes the car will not turn over. I have to try several times and it eventually starts. The battery seems to be strong.

At high speeds 120km the car does not seem stable it feels extremely light and feel?s like it?s hydro planning. If you drive over several light bumps it skews to one side.

Any suggestions before I take it to a mechanic would be appreciated. I want to ensure it gets fixed properly.

Yes! you need to pick one problem then ask the mechanic to diagnostic one problem at the time but not all three that could confuse the issue. Mechanic needs your help in properly identify the problem so he can narrow down his search. For example, at 120 Km car handling problem does not has anything to do with engine mechanical problem, engine turn over but not start has nothing to do with "jerk" or vibration.
