I need to know how hard is it to mount and reattach an Antenna for a Vibe 2005. It snapped off. I can screw it on but I can it not clear to me how a new unit would be replaced. Can I get the parts from a dealer and do it myself is it involved? Thanks.

Are you wanting to replace the mast or the complete antenna including the base?

Removal Procedure
Remove the radio antenna. Pull back the rear compartment trim panel for access. Disconnect the antenna cable (2) from the radio antenna bracket (3). Remove the screws from the radio antenna cable. Remove the radio antenna bracket (3). Pull the radio antenna bezel (1) from the quarter panel.
Installation Procedure
Press the radio antenna bezel (1) into the quarter panel opening. Position the radio antenna bracket (3) to the inner quarter panel.
Install the radio antenna cable screws. Tighten Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Connect the antenna cable (2) to the radio antenna bracket (3). Install the rear compartment trim panel. Install the radio antenna.
