Trans-Am won't start....Need Help.

O.K. Quick run down, I had the starter check and its good, The battery is new and fully charged. What I did I connected the battery and test light the cable that connects to the starter, its good, power is going though the cable, then I had some one turn the ignition key all the way and i test lighted the small ignition wire that goes to the starter, test light shows its good. Now when i put it all together and install it back into the car and turn the key nothing happens, I also tested the small ignition wire with a test light while connected to the starter and it doesn't have power going though it, but when i test the wire by itself its shows power going though it, someone please help i'm lost on this and about to go out of my mind......

Your problem is high resistance in wire going to starter terminal solenoid . The test light will light but when an real load is put on it like ( starter sole.) it drops. Bypass the wire and try direct from power to starter terminal if it works you, ve found the problem. It could be corrosion on terminals or right in wire itself eg. copper sulphate greenish powder. Good luck.
