Do any of you guys use this for your car and if so, can you please recommend a good brand to use? Someone told me that STP stuff is good and also told me that Porsche crowd likes Techtroline(sp?). As well, how often or at what interval should this stuff be used? TIA.

I have read in similar treads that the Techtro...(sp) is recommended. Some of it will get into the oil and thus should be used just before changing the oil.

I don't add injector cleaner. I always fill up with one of the several major brands of premium gasoline which contains detergents to help keep injectors clean.
Dealer has tried adding injector cleaner when I take car in for service but I asked him not to do that.
If you insist on using an injector cleaner, the stuff Chevron adverstises is the best stuff.
Also, as someone else mentioned this stuff does not fully combust and can get into the oil so the recommendation is to use the cleaner a tank or two before changing the oil.
Sincerely,

btw, if you want to do one better on the fuel injectors, take them off and shoot Techron through them with an air compressor. It's not quite the same as a professional cleaning, but four or five doses of Techron at 40psi will clean 'em out quite well.
