I just had my 2004 Prius in for its 35,000 mile maintenance and was told that I would need new tires soon. Some time ago, I had a problem with one of my tires when I had a flat. The sidewall of the tire was ruined in the time it took to pull over to the side of the road and I ended up having to replace the tire. The car came with Goodyear Integritys but because of the sidewall problem that I experienced, I don't want to put on another set of the Goodyears. I've gotten mixed responses from several Toyota service departments when I asked for recommendations. After some internet research, I'm thinking about the Michelin Harmony or Michelin HyroEdge as replacements. Has anyone on this newsgroup replaced their OEM tires with another brand and if so, how do you like them?
