Has anyone any idea how I get the gear stick knob off my Rover 45. It has developed an annoying rattle - sound like something loose inside. It just seems a bit too trivial to take it to a dealer unde warranty.

Gear knob is a 'pull off' fitting, you just need to pull real damn hard and twist a little as you are doing it.
