Hi all, Hope someone can give me assitance on this one. Well here goes!
Drivers window does not seem to close up far enough in to the seal near the junction with the door mirror. Can anyone help me resolve this?

I know this is off topic but can you tell me what year the 216 is.... the reason being I have one which I intend to break for parts

Its a 98 "R" plate 216SEi Coupe with 34,000 miles (genuine)
I Know a little bit about this, as I have recently replaced the window motor on my coupe (nightmare - don't ask!!!)
If you remove the door card, the whole of the window mechanism is held on by
7 or 8 bolts. There are 5 or 6 along the top section and two at the bottom of the door. There is quite a bit of play around these bolts, so if you slacken them all off you can change the position of the glass within the frame.Join the Discussion
