I have a Rover 420sd '96. I am having trouble with the engine. The car is quite slow and struggles to get its revs over 3500rpm. Also the engine management light comes on every now and again, but i can reset it by turning tha car off for 30 seconds. The managment light also comes on sometimes when i have run the car and stopped for a few minutes. Again i can reset it by turning the ignition off. Any ideas as to what may cause this?? Also i have another Rover deisel. Both of them have problems with their heater console. The 1 and 2 settings on the fan do not work. I find it strange that this should be on both cars, is this a known fault? Also is their anything i can do rather than send it to a garage for them to change it? Cant do it myself. I am very limited in my car part knowledge so be gentle, thanks in advance
