2-cycle parts fiche images now available online, HTML to follow.

It's been awhile, because it was a lot of work and I was building two barns this summer for alpacas, but I've photographed and edited all of the 2-cycle fiche images. I'll have some HTML navigation up shortly, but the images are usable as is. They came out very readable which surprised me. I edited the images with GIMP 1.2 to make them black an white in case someone wants to print one without wasting a ton of ink or toner. The edited black and white are at:

original photos (cropped and rotated) are at:

HTML will be at:

intend to have some navigation, with a map such as at

I have all but the first fiche (1 of 6), but that was just an index and tools which are in most shop manuals. If someone wants to lend me that slide, I'll add it, but you're not missing much without it. Also, image 6A22.JPG has a blurry area. The fiche is defective, and I can't fix that. I'll manually fix that spot if someone tells me what it says.

Hope this is of help to someone. Happy browsing:-)

Hi, Ted. I've got that first fiche, but I'm still not happy with the image quality. I wonder if I can project it onto the screen of the fiche reader, and digitally photograph it, getting the resolution my scanner just can't reach. I'll see what I can come up with for 6A22 also.

That's how I did mine. The camera was a 3 Meg camera about 2 feet from the fiche screen which was about the size of a 17" monitor, maybe smaller. The only problem was brightness falloff toward the edges.
