engine wont turn over

Reread the message thread. You said (and I quote directly):

"I've hear horror stories trying to remove the 9k starter. It takes hours and you have to use a special curved wrench. But if you have an impact wrench, removing the starter is a piece of cake. The positive battery cable is to be disconnected *first* of course."

I then replied that one should disconnect the *negative* battery cable

*first*, ostensibly then the positive one and later the cable at the starter.

It could be confusing to someone who might take your instructions literally.

Limited only by the internal resistance of the battery itself! Ouch!

Because the negative one is connected to the frame, if the wrench touches the frame while removing that one, no harm done. However if the wrench hits the frame while disconnecting the positive and the negative is still connected to the frame, sparks.
