Dont know If anyones experienced this I changed the engine on a pug 306 1.9D T reg 1999 its got a transponder key Nows the engines back in I dont seem to get any engine management lights I get the normal indicators lights etc. The engine wont even turn over . Has it got anything to do with the ecu being locked or something ? Any help

Have you changed just the engine block or have you changed the ecu as well?
Are all the plugs attached? Does the 306 have the same plugs behind the passenger side headlight as the 405? There is one big round plug and a single spade. This is the connection to the starter as I discovered recently after changing a 405td. Does the engine have an ecu or is it the traditional mechanical fuel pump?
