hi .. anyone know how to remove the heater fan from a Saab 9-5 1998 appears brushes have worn out .. dealer says its a throw away motor.. but im going to try to have the brushes replaced .. havea guy in sydney who can a/ build brushes or b/ have the motor sent away to be rebuilt I know ir think its accessible from the front under the windscreen wipers ... just not 100% sure. any one been there?? dealer says motors need replacing every 150oook at $AU509 currrently seems abit high for a couple of carbon brushes
symptons,.. works ,, stops ,, hit bump ... works .. seems brushes intermittantly make contact thanks Peer
