Yes, and let me point out: different animals and far fewer off them in a truly basic environment.
However, global warming isn't the only global pollution issue. When you look at things objectively and notice that we're not supposed to each fish from the ocean because it has too much mercury and we can't swim in half our rivers and streams, that alone should be enough for folks to realize we have a problem.
