reset computer on '99 9-3

Here are the symptoms -



radio works for 5 seconds then quits, turn off and on, same thing, 5 seconds then quits.



blinkers work but they don't make the clicking sound anymore



radiator fan runs continuously even when engine is cold



dome lights occasionally work



SID shows time & temp but no radio information (even during 5 seconds), DTE, MPH and other SID info shows dotted line but no values.



steering column radio controls don't work



All of this happened at once. I had just started the engine, noticed the radio quit, then noticed everything else. I tried disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes, re-attached and same problems. I have checked fuses. This must all be related somehow. Any suggestions?

I think it's either a major electrical disconnection or your ICE unit is bad. Most of this stuff runs through ICE. Not sure about the radio controls though.

how do i reset the computer module im not getting any spark to the direct ignition

You don't get spark *to* the DI. Only from it. And in all likelyhood it's the DI that has gone T.U. They are known to do that quite often.

Try swapping in a known good one and see what happens.
