resonance and/or engine vibration at 90 kmh with my C900...

Hi everyone,

I've noticed that at almost spon-on 90 kph, my C900 develops very noticable vibration and/or resonance from the engine which only occurs within a very small speed window. The engine is running at a little over 3000 rpm at that speed.

Are there any key things I should check out? I thought about engine mounts, but what else should I look at? My car had an 8-valve engine FYI.

Craig.

My car has a 3-speed auto transmission, so that isn't always going to be possible. 8-)

Well I've been told very common issues are engine mounts needing renewal, and (eek!) problems in the block involving big-end and crankshaft bearings. Fortunately I do have a second engine available (from the donor car) but I don't have facilities to lift engines at present, so I'm trying to avoid very major tasks for the time being...
