After the battery has been changed.... ('96 - 900) and the radio is turned on, there's no security code prompt...
This happened again the new battery was disconnected.

Press and hold "band"until space appears to enter code.

If the radio is not asking for code, what is the problem?
You disconnected the positive battery cable?
