117K miles 8 months MOT and 10 months tax.

A little TLC and she'll go for a while longer.

At time of writing going for a song at £150, NO RESERVE.

Just to be annoying and pedantic...

It doesn't seem to have "buy it now" though you mention it a couple of times in the text.

Cheers,

Colin.

Yup, been asked that a few times. Only seasoned ebayers understand this as ebay don't explain it to buyers very well. Strange really as everything else about ebay seems really clued up.

Basically when you list an auction item with a buy it now option, a buyer can click on the buy it now tab and buy it without having to wait to see if their bid is high enough.

Unfortunately, as soon as someone bids on the item, as has happened with my lovely Saab, the buy it now option is removed by ebay.

This means that in this particular case my car is now up for auction with no reserve. ( I neglected to put one on, DOH!) If no one else bids the current bidder will get my vehicle for £150. BARGAIN!

I am only selling this car because it's a real pain in the backside getting my four year old in and out of his seat in the back with only three doors. I'd love to keep her as a hobby car but I don't have the space and my wife has the money spent already....

I would much prefer to see her go to a Saab enthusiast, preferably not as a mobile spares shop though!

I do admit to being a tad excited about picking up my super quick

9000.......

Which "local SAAB specialist" did you use? I'm in West Yorkshire too and know that some are better than others :)

Paul, we've exhanged emails before I'm sure!

I use Aeromotive in Birstal, I don't know what you think but I have always been happy with their work.

I replied to your "9000cse or C900 Turbo? " thread posted back in March. I'd just not put you, that car and this thread together :)

Have you got the 9000 yet? I betcha you'll be back to the C900 soon :) Once driven, forever smitten!

Ah yes, I'd forgotten that selling with no reserve causes "buy it now" to disappear after the first bid. I've only ever sold one item on ebay

- funnily enough, it was a Saab!

I shouldn't worry too much about the reserve. These things always seem to shoot up if they still look like a mega bargain near the end of the auction.

Cheers,

Colin.

The answer is obvious. Ditch the four year old and the wife and keep the car. Win, win, win!!

My C900 is a great little mover alright, but not as great as my wife, hence the four year old ;-)
