Hello,
Thule specifies their model 368 rack feet as the right fit for my '91 C900, as the rack "specially designed gutter foot pack for thin gutter vehicles." However, visually, I can see very little differences from the model 300; moreover, model 300 is said to be "Perfect and secure fit even with very narrow gutters," so why have another model 368 for "narrow gutters"? The only additional difference I noticed was that in the materials: model 300's "feet are galvanized stamped steel; black polyester powder coated," whereas model 368's "feet are die cast aluminum; black polyester powder coated."
Model 300 is much easier to obtain used, so I was wondering if this is a solution that would work, or if I really need the 368. So, has anyone tried using model 300 and had difficulties?
Thanks,
-Dima
