L200 Antenna

Anyone know how difficult and what the process is to replace the antenna on a 2003 L200? I sheared it off at the base. Not sure if this is a job that needs to be done at the dealership of whether I can do it.

You can handle it.

The antenna screws onto the base so it comes off easily. Is the male screw thread still OK on the base to antenna or did you break the entire thing off at roof level? If the later, you have to remove some trim and drop the rear end of the headliner to get access to the base. iirc, there is a screw connection from the cable to the antenna base.
