Is there a way to prevent the VUE from locking the doors automatically every time I put it in gear.
by the way the car has power door locks.

Not sure offhand, but check the manual. I know there is on the Ion (some magic button press combinations on the door locks with the key turned on, I believe..)
Kinda figured they were power, since they're locking by themselves :)
But no, there's no way to disable the feature. Most cars nowadays either lock automatically when the vehicle is put in gear, or when the vehicle starts moving.
