I wonder if that 1987 Avanti that is being parted out in Las Vegas is the Avanti that I bought new. I bought 1987 Avanti #6 (the fourth made by Mike Kelly for public sale) new. The last that I knew, it was in Las Vegas. It was/is a black coupe. There were a total of 166 Avantis made in 1987 - coupes, convertibles and LSCs. Figuring that probably less than 100 were coupes, how many could be in Las Vegas? Does anyone have the serial number and/or description of the Avanti being parted out? I would be curious to know if it is the Avanti that I bought new or is the 1987 Avanti that needs a hood my old car?
