Now they are attacking guest books.



I've deleted no less than 40 spam messages for anything from Viagra to "Men looking for men" from my guest book the last couple of evenings.



I'm trying not to be a violent person, but I'd like to shoot them!



What would happen if these maggots spent their time doing something useful with their skills?



What makes them think Studebaker guys would care, or are as queer as they are? I mean, if I'm looking for Viagra, am I going to some Stude guy's guest book? Well, maybe... dang it!

Nope, not talking about you, Matt. I just happened to notice the spammer's garbage while checking the guest book. I wasn't pleased about the spammers, but was pleased to see you had visited my site, and took the time to drop me a line. (I have responded to you from the guest book by email.)

And, yes... I have promised you a drive in 'Sheba... so I do owe ya! Actually, I think I promised you could drive her. Since that is the way I remember it, that's the way it is!

Sad huh?

I ended up removing the guestbook from my site. I tried several remedies first - none worked. I feel your pain.

It is sad. I tried the same thing and gave up on the guest book. Only way I could make it work was for me to approve every post. That did not seem like something I wanted to do. MikeW
