Eastwood Products OT

I have been dealing with Eastwood for special paint, etc. Their products are of good quality. Last night I ordered some paint for that makes the part look anodized. They have a deal that if you pay $29.95 for a year they will send product without charging shipping during the year. The fee is usually $6.95 each time to send UPS so I signed up for that. I also ordered a kit that is supposed to repair bulls eye windshield chips. Has anyone ever tried this type of repair?

Four yrs ago, I had it with the windshield on my Hawk. I took it to a glass place and asked them if they had some of that stuff that took out scratches, wiper marks etc. They said yes, and if I do not mind getting seasick or dizzy as I drive they would be more than happy to apply it. It does take out all those marks, scratches etc, but basically turns your windshield into a huge prescription lens. Actually it does work ut puts waves in the glass. Its fine if its not in your line of sight.

That pre-paid shipping doesnt make sense. They could go broke ................ everybody buys 5 items over a 90 day period, then you order a Mig Welder. It is a dumb deal for them.

Bob, I did not buy a scratch removal kit, I bout a kit that fills stone chips. I will let you know how it goes.
