Now if they could turn down the volume on the slot machine bells/chimes/tunes/etc. and go non-smoking I'd probably be willing to drop $20 every 4-5 years in Las Vegas. It takes me about that long to forget why I left the last time... for me a casino is fun for about 30 minutes.

Arizona casinos I've seen all now have smoking only in one enclosed area. Smoking is banned everywhere else.

A White Mountain Apache casino named Hon-Dah has the biggest and best champagne brunch I've ever seen every Sunday.

Arizona Indian casinos are now becoming destination sites. Many are building big hotels. Good on 'em....

I was staying in a small town casino / hotel just outside of Death Valley. Somehow I wandered into another part of the casino and found an unocupied room. No one else was there and I cheerfully lost my money in the machines. The same thing had hapened a few years before in Reno.

In Holigans (?) next to the Flamingo in Vagas, I suggested to "someone" that they set up a quiet room where people like us, who like relative quiet, could play. He looked at me like I was nuts! Well, others think I am too, when I mention Studebakers! (I'm glad I didn't mention having mechanical machines!)
