buy a wrecked rust-free avanti and use the frame - lots have done the swap the other way...

The frame is in Fort Wayne, IN 46835 and, yes, it will require a full body-off-frame condition to do this. It does make it a lot easier to paint the frame and rebuild the suspension though.
