My brother, a retired navy fighter pilot- and I have talked many times about going flying in a P-51

We both kinda figure if it falls from the sky, we will be going the way we were intended

Works for me

The highest performance aircraft that I regularly flew in, (right seat), was the OV-1 Mohawk. For a prop driven bird, it was quite a ride...

Sadly, his regular instructor got killed yesterday, flying pipeline patrol. Now he's unlikely to finish his license work before he starts college. But he's going to a place with a pretty good flying club, and I think he may find the time.
