Yes they did. Red as a luxury color was often used on high-line cars inthe early and mid-fifties, regardless of exterior color. If I'm notmistaken, 'most all stepdown (1948-1954) Hudson convertibles came withred interiors regardless of exterior color. The color combo on thisStarliner is correct. BPAlex Magdaleno wrote:

I know of a gorgeous 53 TriStar Commander Starliner that's baby bluewith a cream top. It came that way from the factory. And it originallyhad red seats. Egh. The guy who restored it went ahead and ordered taninstead of red, without even asking the owner. But, the owner didn'tseem to mind...Matthew        wrote:
