Studebakers in print

Jun 21, 2006 2 Replies

I just got my August '06 edition of Hemmings Classic Car to find to my joy that it features Studebakers this month. Wheee! But, I can't seem to be able to find a single '55 in it yet.

Also, the current edition of Hot Rod does also have a very nice feature article on The Chicken Hawk.

Best regards to all, Chris Houck

Funny thing.

Last night I tore the ads and stuff out of the 2/83 C&P with a '55 President coupe on the cover. The editorial stuff (articles) remain. Part 1 of an article on Graham Paige is the big article. Classy Fords is the third big article.

Send me an SSAE with enough postage to carry a 90 page "Time"-size magazine and it's yours. Mention the NG and the magazine if you email me so I can reconize you7 from the spam

Great Studebaker article - I'm waiting to see what Bob P has to say.

I got a kick out of that Caddy show car: IIRC, 1/3 designed and built in Uganda, 1/3 designed and built in Outer Mongolia, and the remainder done on Easter Island, all without communications with the other groups.
