TH 400 issue

I knew everything was going to well on the Caddy swap, the transmission has issues. It appears to be in forward gear, no matter where I put the lever on the transmission and when I put it in reverse, it just fights itself. I'll drop the pan and valve body tomorrow. Sounds like you got some clutch plates welded together.

I was going to tell you that you might have farked up, but then I googled and you're right. Caddy did have their own unique bellhousing pattern, but only for '67 and earlier.

Soooo... a quick google search for "Oldsmobile 4-speed" finds...?
