We had a visit from our landlord this weekend. He is the head of Engineering at one of the big Colleges in Detriot area. He's doing his 6-year personal evaluation and wanted to take a look at his prpoperties here to refresh his memory, and also to meet us. His wife was with him - nice folks. Both from South Africa. We had a nice visit and discussed the house, his local mamager (great) and the Condo-scheme overall hired manager (sucks). There is settling here and he wanted to how badly the floor in the garage was cracked (floor covering hid the slab in the house.) He was overjoyed when the garage door went up and he saw the Commander. He was all over it. I guess that last one he had seen on the road was "back home."
Damn, that made his day -- and mine, too.!
